Any parks like Knoebels in Elysburg, PA?
My wife and our two young children passed through Pennsylvania on our way to Connecticut this past summer. We decided to stop for a day at Knoebels. Everybody really enjoyed the park. The nice part, especially with young children, is that you don't spend $50 for a ticket (like you would at a Six Flags resort) and not know how long they will be able to go. Knoebels was great in that you just buy however many tickets you want, and if you use them up, you just buy more. We spent several hours there and I think we spent a grand total of about $40 on rides. By the way, the food was not outrageously expensive, either.
If anyone is aware of parks similar to this, I'd love to know about them.
By the way, I'm not necessarily talking about parks in Pennsylvania. I'm looking for any similar parks in the US.
In Rochester, NY, we have a small family owned park called SeaBreeze. It is very similar to Knoebels, in the sense that there's a lot of history; a lot of classic rides; family oriented and fairly inexpensive to get into. They are known for their homemade sugar waffles.
